Zackenberg Research Station is a leading High Arctic facility dedicated to integrated climate monitoring and cutting-edge environmental research in Northeast Greenland.

Zackenberg Research Station invites national and international scientists, researchers, and students to conduct cutting-edge research or run field-based courses in one of the most pristine High Arctic environments on Earth. Located in Northeast Greenland, Zackenberg offers a unique opportunity to study a rapidly changing Arctic ecosystem up close. A branch marine facility is situated at Daneborg, 25 km north-east of Zackenberg.

Since 1995, Zackenberg has been the site of a comprehensive environmental monitoring programme that tracks climate, biodiversity, and ecosystem changes. Zackenberg is owned by the Government of Greenland and operated by the Department of Ecoscience, Aarhus University.
