The research station offers two types of access: physical access, where you conduct your work on-site, and remote access, where our logistics team carries out fieldwork or sampling on your behalf.

Snow scooters 

The stations has 4 snow scooters available during the snow season (i.e. Spring only)

Freezers

The station offers temporary storage in freezers (+5, -20 °C). Contact the station staff if you need to store samples at the station.

Equipment

Station offers following equipment for rent:

• Camping equipment (tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, camping stoves, polar bear fences, dry camping food)
• Trolleys
• Electric ETV
• Four snow scooters
• Three inReach mini devices
• Three Garmin GPS’es
• Two satellite handheld (Iridium) phones
• 5 l dry bags
• Argo 8x8 (possible to utilize within the station area and surroundings with help of station crew – ask for details)
• Two boats (possible to support sailing activities – must be agreed with the station crew)
• Ten field first aid kits
• Heavy machinery (possible to support with help of station crew)

Using of some of above listed equipment will impose renting costs included in final invoice according to our pricelist. Contact station crew for details.
