Dangerous goods

Dangerous goods of any kind are not allowed unto the Norlandair aircraft. Alle dangerous goods therefore must be shipped to Zackenberg with ship during the annually summer ship, leaving from Denmark mid-July. Any dangerous goods cargo along with other regular cargo must arrive at Risø no later than ultimo-June. The cargo will arrive with the summer ship at Daneborg primo-August.

Dangerous goods is defined as such if the product in the safety data sheet is equipped with a UN number. Typical products defined as dangerous goods with a UN number, are items such as, but not limited to: lithium batteries, corrosive or oxidizing chemicals, explosives, flammable substances, gasses in pressurized containers, toxic or infectious substances or radioactive material.
